Welcome to the www.dereklovesshopping.com experience. My name is Derek “Fabulous” Warburton and I have been named a lifestyle guru by many media sources. I have been a personal and celebrity stylist, marketing director, makeup artist, artistic director, editor and spokesperson throught my 15 year career. DLS encapsulates my entire resume into one web experience that has a common goal. We HELP, TEACH, INSPIRE, LOVE and have lots of FUN while doing it!

No individual in our business has been able to piece all of these experiences together and develop a “go to” guide. We have seen Rachel Ray and Oprah develop properties in this genre but they are more focused on self esteem directly. What is special about DLS is that we are building self esteem through fashion, beauty and lifestyle which makes the experience so unique. We have amassed contributers from all over the globe to give fantastic advice and recommendations with columns like CONFESSIONS OF A REAL GIRL (which is a weekly advice column from celebrity stylist Johanna Laracuente who is a size 14 and she leads us on how to be Derek Fabulous at any size and where to find it) and TRUE COURAGE ( these are success stories of people who have turned their lives around whether they are living with HIV/AIDS, breast and ovarian cancer survivors or homeless and getting back on their feet) but all the while adding some soft fun content like my aspirational obsessions… a Chanel headband may not be in our budget, but we can certainly dream about it!

I started DLS because I was approached to make numerous appearances and i did not feel prepared to handle the media in that way. First came the my very well received web series Derek Loves Shopping. I took the average consumer on a virtual shopping tour around North America to the best boutiques in each city. Then we started the actual web property, Derek Loves Shopping. I find that when outside media gets involved with a personality the individual conforms to the media source. I was not willing to conform away for my message. I feel that when you brand yourself in a certain way the right path will come to you. I am proving that every day.

In closing, I feel very fortunate that i have been successful with the message i am bringing to the public. We are being touted nationally not only for my flair as an individual but for my community service deeds and my ability to bring legitimate corporations into the fold seamlessly. I am very excited that a company that gets involved with DLS will have a positive light shining on them by being associated with my solid message, HELP, TEACH, INSPIRE, LOVE and my favorite part… have tons of FUN while doing it!
