Alicia Keys buys swanky pad owned by Lenny Kravitz

AOL Real Estate tells us that Grammy Award-winning artist Alicia Keys and her record producer fiancee Swizz Beatz have bought the New York City penthouse apartment once owned by another Grammy Award-winning performer, Lenny Kravitz.

The Kravitz condo has been on-and-off the market since 2002 at asking prices as high as $19 million and as low as $12 million. Keys and Beatz negotiated a price of $12.745 million for the SoHo home (30 Crosby Street to be exact).

The property features five bedrooms, a marble fireplace, media room, suspended glass staircase and 3000 square feet of outdoor space.
