Happy Friday everyone!!!!

Ok totally obsessed with this weekends activities!!! On Sunday April 11th, I will be co-hosting BK Fashion Week {END} along with Alex Mccord, Simon Van Kempen and the esteemed Abner Louima of the Abner Louima Foundation.
We are very proud to be part of BK Fashion Week {END}!!! Not only was this event created to showcase the talent of young people, it is an evening to encourage the dreams of these young designers. Proceeds will benefit the Brooklyn Style Foundation which provides guidance and financial support to high school students who aspire to be fashion designers. The money raised will purchase sewing machines, supplies, and fabrics for these kids. It means so much to me to be part of this because i was that kid….we were those kids…. 

The evening will start out at Body by Brooklyn for a VIP cocktail reception from 3:30- 5:30, then all will be escorted to the Brooklyn Navy Yard for the red carpet and start of the evening.

The fesivities will begin at 6:30.  First, Abner Louima will introduce the evening with the “I AM BROOKLYN” campaign for Haiti. followed by many live performances and runway shows.  Then at 8pm, Simon, Alex and I will introduce the students from William H. Maxwell High School.  This will mark the first time the students will be showing and we are SOOOO thrilled to be there encouraging them!!

On Sunday night, instead of watching reruns of the Real Housewives of NYC, come to Brooklyn and join us as we  HELP, TEACH, INSPIRE, LOVE and have lots and lots of FUN!!!!!
