Hopeless

One would think that a lingerie collection based on Steven Spielberg’s “Jaws” would be a strange idea. Well, not for Australia’s handmade label, Hopeless. Their current range called “The Voyage” is in fact inspired from the “blood in the ocean and the waves of the sea” according to designer Gabrielle Adamidis.

What I see is a gorgeous nautical and retro (and not 70’s) inspired collection of knickers, halters, and bra-lettes, in ruby red, navy and white. Fabrics include shiny silk charmeuse, silk georgette and organic soy and cotton jersey. These pieces can easily be worn layered as outerwear too, they are that pretty. Matching hair clips and garters round out the collection.
