Let Coney Island Come to You

Sometimes there is nothing better than an ice-cold beer on a hot summer day.  What better way to quench your thirst than with Shmaltz Brewing Company’s Coney Island Craft Lager line of beers?  (Oh how I love a good microbrew.)

As if bringing us uniquely named beers such as Sword Swallower, Albino Python, and Human Blockhead reminiscent of line’s namesake weren’t enough, Coney Island Lager has created a summer brew that evokes the infamous Mermaid parade that happens at the opening of Coney Island’s summer season every year.  Aptly named Coney Island Mermaid Pilsner, this light, crisp, and slightly sweet beer joins the ranks of its other sideshow inspired cohorts.

Right now, the only way to get Mermaid Pilsner is in a variety pack, which includes Coney Island Lager, Sword Swallower and Albino Python.  Some may find this a bit confining but I say the more the merrier.  Bring on the beer Smorgasbord!!  It’s 4th of July weekend after all.  Let the barbecues begin.
