Whether you live in the Big Apple or you are visiting for a shopping weekend you can’t miss these five lingerie stores the city has to offer. We are not talking your run of the mill mall variety underwear stores here. We are suggesting a total lingerie experience, something to awaken all of your senses. Much like New York City itself!
Here we go!
1. Agent Provocateur- 133 Mercer St. A fantasy pink and black boudoir filled with gorgeous lingerie, matching sets, silk and lace. A dream come true!
2. La Petite Coquette- 51 University Place. A true girly girl’s lingerie store! This charming boutique is well stocked with all of the essentials one needs to flirt.
3. Journelle- 3 East 17th St. Lingerie in all price points is the name of the game here. This light airy boutique is filled with flowers, books, and intimates from labels such as Elle Macpherson to the retro modern Wundervoll, plus everything in between. Large fitting rooms also enable you to bring that special dress with you to try the items on underneath.
4. Kiki de Montparnasse- 79 Greene St. This sleek store has you covered from the mild to the wild. Seductive lingerie is not the only thing you will find here. Put money aside for toys, masks, and bath products as well. (Pictured above)
5. Town Shop- 2273 Broadway. Since 1888, Town Shop has been New York’s source for brassieres and bustiers. Known for finding the right bra size for its costumers so it’s no surprise that they carry the full range from 30A to 40G.
