Macy’s Herald Square getting a make over!!

Our friends over at Macy’s Herald Square are getting a $400 million make over!!!

The Macy’s flagship store is set to undergo renovations  starting in the spring, which will allegedy cost $400 million. This is no overnight job though, the renovations won’t be completed until 2015!! These renovations are said to bring 1.2 million square feet of shopping space, & there will be 22 restaurants within the store. And for all the shoe lovers, they will have the largest shoe collection with 300,000 pairs of shoes a day!!!

Macy’s Herald Square is such a major staple in the city!  It’s also a major corporation from the Macy’s holiday parades, 4th of July firework displays to Fashion’s Night Out! So it’s almost necessary that as the company & brand continue to grow so much the physical store!

Another thing that Team Fabulous is absolutely loving about these renovations and expansion is that there will be 800 more jobs available, causing a need for an employee rise! We can’t wait for the new & improved Macy’s to open!!!
