Summer is finally here!! Hurrah! And with the warmer weather comes life on, and in, the water. If you’re a beach bunny, boat babe, sun siren or scuba diving divo then you might find some of these June tips tres chic and very useful!

HOW TO BAT THOSE WATERPROOF LASHES (and remove the mascara later!)

Waterproof Mascara: my number one must have for the beach, swimming and all things water (including tears at all those summer weddings). So burst from the water like a Bond Girl: whether you’re a Halle Berry, an Ursula Andress or a Judi Dench with the right waterproof mascara your sexy lashes can make a Dr. No into a Dr. Yes.

Long periods of swimming, especially in salty water, though very good for you, will eventually wash off every other bit of make up but that waterproof mascara will stay, so it’s a good thing that it’s so high-impact…here’s how to do it:

First of all get a really good curve on those lashes with an eyelash curler.

Next follow with a lash conditioner like shu uemura Lash Repair. This fantastic lash primer hydrates, nourishes, and helps repair lashes while amp-ing up volume and length when followed with mascara. Here’s the clincher, it also helps the lashes maintain their curl!
