Tips for a Feng Shui Bedroom

Good vibes, positive energy, and lots of love are what we all want to feel when stepping foot in our bedroom. Here are tips to getting your bedroom Feng Shui ready from guru to the stars, Ken Lauher.

• Pink is considered to be one of the best colors for the bedroom because it is the color associated with relationships.
• One of the most important principles is the placement of the bed in the command position, a power position that provides a view of the door, prevents surprise, and gives control of an environment.
• An appropriate bed should have legs, on each corner, elevating it above the floor.
• A Queen bed is recommended over a King or California King Size bed. A King size bed leaves no room for upgrading. You’ve already reached the maximum level, the only way to move is downward, so your next bed might be a single bed.
• A headboard in Feng Shui represents protection. Avoid rods or headboards that split in the middle.
• Footboards aren’t necessary. Some say it feels like being in a coffin.
